We’re looking for a Model-Based development Expert to join our Avionics Engineering team, driving the design and development of DO-178C-compliant software for next-generation flight control and aerospace systems.
You’ll work with industry-leading tools — MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow or ANSYS SCADE Suite — to model, simulate, and generate safety-critical embedded code. This role offers the opportunity to shape end-to-end model-based design (MBD) workflows across projects following ARP4754A, ARP4761, and DO-331 standards.
Lead model-based design and simulation for avionics control and monitoring systems.
Develop, verify, and maintain models, libraries, and frameworks in Simulink or SCADE.
Ensure compliance with DO-178C / DO-331 / ARP4754A development and verification processes.
Generate certifiable embedded C code using Embedded Coder or SCADE KCG.
Conduct MiL, SiL, and HiL testing and ensure full traceability from requirements to verification.
Collaborate with system, safety, and certification teams to support FAA/EASA audits.
Mentor junior engineers in modelling standards and safety-critical workflows.
10–18 years’ experience in model-based development for aerospace or avionics systems.
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow and/or ANSYS SCADE Suite.
Solid understanding of DO-178C, DO-331, and ARP4754A processes.
Experience with C\C++ development, auto-code generation, model verification, and configuration management (Git/SVN).
Knowledge of control theory, embedded systems, RTOS and real-time software.
Experience with dSPACE, NI VeriStand, or Vector tools.
Familiarity with Polyspace, LDRA, VectorCAST, or SCADE Test.
Exposure to Simulink Requirements/ Coverage, or SCADE Display.
