About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Outdoor Furniture & Landscape Designer who is passionate about outdoor design and enjoys working on diverse projects such as furniture, play areas, and sports facilities. The role involves taking projects from concept to execution, ensuring innovative, functional, and high-quality design outcomes.

Knowledge of SketchUp, SolidWorks, or other relevant design software is preferred.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

• Design and develop outdoor space layouts with a strong focus on:
• Outdoor seating and benches
• Pergolas and shade structures
• Outdoor play areas and sports fields
• Prepare BOQs, manufacturing drawings, and customer service drawings
• Develop GA layouts and detailed construction drawings
• Ensure accurate drawing presentations, critical dimensioning, and parts list preparation
• Update and maintain the company’s systems and workflow documentation
• Work on concept designs with clear execution feasibility
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Role & Key Responsibilities

• Be involved in projects from concept stage through completion, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and functional designs
• Understand client briefs, identify requirements, and prepare feasibility reports and design proposals
• Develop new design ideas and products aligned with client needs and market trends
• Produce detailed blueprints and revise drawings as required
• Compile complete product and project specifications
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and report status
• Coordinate and liaise with production, manufacturing, and installation teams
• Stay updated with architectural, product, and outdoor design trends and advancements

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (Relevant Field)
• Additional professional courses in design will be an added advantage
• Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience in drafting and design detailing
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other 2D–3D modelling and rendering software
• Good understanding of drawing presentation standards and execution-ready documentation
• Experience in GA layouts and multi-disciplinary projects
• Strong conceptual design skills with practical execution knowledge
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment with flexibility and adaptability
