Approver R2R Professional

Eligibility

• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3)
• Accounts/Finance graduation - B.COM, M.COM or similar (Preferred)
• Should be flexible with night shifts & rotation shifts

Must Have Skills

• Finance and Accounting exposure in RTR
• General Ledger accounting reviewing and approval activities including Journal Entry, amortization, Accrual, Fixed Asset, Inventory, Trial Balance review, and P & L review for period close activity
• General Ledger reconciliations: bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and providing solutions

Good To Have Skills

• Prior experience working as Reviewer/Approver/Controller of R2R process
• Experience of statutory audit
• Experience delivering transformation or special projects that have improved process efficiency or productivity

Responsibilities / Expectations

1. Ensure delivery in terms of accuracy and timeliness on a daily basis
2. Lead end-to-end accounting work, review and approve monthly journals, FA, IC, closing, and reconciliation
3. Ensure all activities on MEC are met
4. Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations and schedules
5. Assist, support, and resolve team issues in journal entry and reconciliation activities
6. Review backlog and MEC timeline to improve process flow times
7. Identify, recommend, and implement solutions upon discussion with finance operation leads
8. Ensure stakeholder queries are attended to in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner
9. Demonstrate strong analytical skills to understand process issues and provide solutions based on process requirements
10. Maintain high customer service standards
11. Ability to prioritize, be flexible in shifts, and follow standard guidelines for exceptions
12. Participate in monthly SLA discussions and sign-off
13. Handle high volumes during month-end close, year-end close, and internal/external audit requirements as per timelines
14. Exhibit good communication skills for daily calls, meetings, and email interactions with team and clients
