Apprentice - Quality Assurance

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Apprentice to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are passionate about delivering high-quality products, ensuring compliance, and supporting end-to-end quality processes in a fast-growing beauty and personal care environment.

You will work closely with QA Executives, R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to support routine quality checks, documentation, testing, and process adherence across products and operations.

What You’ll Do

1. Quality Control & Testing

• Assist in conducting physical and analytical quality checks for raw materials, bulk, and finished products.
• Support in reviewing stability studies and preparing test samples.
• Coordinate with internal teams to collect samples and ensure timely testing.

2. Documentation & Compliance

• Support in maintaining SOPs, COAs, batch records, lab reports, NCRs and other QA documentation.
• Assist in updating checklists, logs, and quality dashboards.
• Ensure all QA activities follow ISO, GMP, and regulatory standards.

3. Process & Production Quality

• Participate in line audits, hygiene checks, and packaging verification during production runs.
• Help monitor adherence to defined quality parameters during filling, packing, and dispatch.
• Escalate deviations or non-conformities to the QA team for timely action.

4. Vendor & Material Quality

• Support vendor quality evaluation for raw materials, packaging materials, and samples.
• Assist in inbound quality checks with the warehouse team.

5. Cross-Functional Support

• Liaise with R&D, Supply Chain, Packaging, and Manufacturing to support overall quality improvements.
• Participate in trial batches and support QA documentation for new product development (NPD).

What We Are Looking For

• B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy or related fields
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and process-driven environment
• Proactive, disciplined, and committed to quality excellence

Location: Thane, Mumbai

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹260,000.00 per year
