Applications Engineer

As a Customer Engineer at Lutron's Global Service & Experience Center in Gurgaon, you will play a crucial role in delivering training sessions and content for Solution providers, Designers, Architects, and Customer-facing professionals. You will also conduct hands-on demonstrations of Lutron Systems, administer certification programs, and ensure a seamless Customer Experience at the Gurgaon office. Your technical expertise will be key in providing support to internal and external stakeholders and updating training content to align with new products and industry standards. Gathering feedback and enhancing materials based on participant input and industry trends will be essential for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and Deliver Training sessions and content for Solution providers, Designers, Architects, and Customer-facing professionals - Provide hands-on demonstrations and explain technical details of Lutron Systems - Design and administer certification programs for Solution providers - Own and enhance the Customer Experience infrastructure at Lutron Gurgaon Office - Be a technical expert on Lutron solutions and offer support to stakeholders - Update training content to reflect new products and industry standards - Gather feedback and enhance training materials based on participant input and industry trends Qualifications: - Hold an Engineering Degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or similar - Have 5-7 years of experience in Lighting control Solution or Architecture/Interior Design/Lighting Design - Possess excellent communication skills and fluency in English - Ability to work flexible hours or weekends on a need-basis - Openness to travel up to 70% within Pan-India, Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Overseas Desired Skills: - Technical Proficiency in lighting Design/Lighting control Solution/Automated Shades Solution - Experience in developing and delivering training programs - Clear verbal and written communication skills - Effective and engaging solution demonstrations - Strong interpersonal skills for maintaining relationships - Analytical skills for resolving technical issues - Ability to coordinate and manage multiple training sessions - Adaptability to update content and methods based on feedback - Providing technical training to support sales efforts - Designing and administering certification programs - Creating and updating training materials - Tailoring training to meet specific client needs At Lutron, you will have the opportunity to accept new challenges, pursue your strengths, expand your horizons, and develop your potential.
