Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to troubleshoot software problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications that are vital to business functions. You will engage with users to understand their challenges and work diligently to implement effective solutions, all while maintaining a focus on enhancing system reliability and user satisfaction. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development and implementation of application support processes to enhance efficiency. - Document and maintain records of issues and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skills: Python, SQL, Data science - AI & ML knowledge, AWS Databricks with an Experience 3-7 years -Strong proficiency in Python and related libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy). -Solid experience in Data Science, SQL, and Machine Learning (ML) & Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementations, including creating and publishing custom applications. -Hands-on experience in developing Python & SQL-based custom applications with at least 1 year of practical experience. -Proven ability in enterprise-level data analysis and reporting. -Familiarity with the Life Sciences industry. -Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and reusable code. -Good to have: Experience with version control tools (e.g., GitHub). -Good to have: Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira) and scheduling tools. - Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language). - Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve software issues. - Experience with application monitoring tools to ensure system performance. - Familiarity with database management and querying languages. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve common goals. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Python (Programming Language). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
