Job Description

As an Application Support Analyst 1 at apexanalytix, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical leadership and support for APEX's apexportal Solutions software applications. You will have the opportunity to interact with clients, identify, troubleshoot, and address support tickets. Your role will involve managing and resolving technical support tickets, prioritizing support tickets in collaboration with the Product Manager and R&D teams, and ensuring effective communication with both internal and external customers. You will be involved in testing product-level functionality and new releases, as well as identifying areas for improvement and communicating them. As a technical expert for client software implementations, you will manage software upgrades, troubleshoot network, database, and software issues, configure system settings, and execute testing. Additionally, you will create rules and data transfer mappings using SQL queries and present technical overviews to clients during upgrades. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and resolve technical support tickets. - Partner with Product Manager and R&D teams to prioritize support tickets. - Facilitate proactive communications with internal and external customers. - Test product-level functionality and new releases. - Serve as the technical expert for client software implementations. - Manage software upgrades and troubleshoot network, database, and software problems. - Configure system settings and execute testing. - Create rules and data transfer mappings using SQL queries. - Present technical overviews to clients during upgrades. - Lead testing of interfaces and resolve client installation issues. Qualifications: - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. - Exposure to SQL Server and data manipulation. - Experience with FTP, secure FTP, and PGP. - Knowledge of Command Prompt and its commands. - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field. - Customer-facing experience with large customers preferred. - 3-5 years of experience in SQL.
