Job Description

As an Application Support Analyst in Sydney, your role will involve providing day-to-day support for international trade applications. You will collaborate with the Business Support team to resolve issues within trade applications and the overall environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting technical troubleshooting, including investigating workflow behavior, system performance, user experience issues, interfaces (batch & real-time), reporting, and overall environment issues. - Responding to queries from interfacing systems (both external and internal), assisting in resolving data, connectivity, and reconciliation issues. - Completing audit requests (internal and external) in a timely manner. - Participating in trade applications project work and operational readiness, ensuring the integrity of the Production environment is maintained as a top priority. - Investigating and developing fixes for small bugs or functionality issues. - Managing incident and problem resolution, ensuring tickets are investigated and resolved within agreed timeframes and properly documented. - Ensuring proper change management processes are followed, including testing and verifying all changes deployed into Production. - Resolving major incidents in a time-sensitive environment and ensuring batches are completed as per SLA. - Monitoring maintenance and capacity (DB sizing, file system sizing/archiving/retention/cleanup, server resources). - Participating in disaster recovery efforts and developing improvements for performance, availability, and reliability. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and certifications: Must-Have/Mandatory: - Good analytical & troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work under pressurized environments. - Good communication (Oral, Verbal & Written) skills. - Working experience with Windows, MS SQL, JBOSS/Java, Control-M, MQ. - Self-driven, proactive team player. - Ability to troubleshoot and think outside the box to resolve rarely seen problems. - Participation in on-call roster. - Knowledge of trade operations, Documentary Collections, Documentary Credit, Trade Finance, and Guarantees. Good-to-Have/Desirable: - Relevant certifications. - ITIL/production support background. - Interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, AppD, Splunk. Your experience range of 5-10 years will enable you to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this role and contribute to the success of the international trade applications you support.,
