Job Description

Application Support Engineer L2 (Linux, Ansible, Oracle)

Experience:

L2 Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Provide
L2 support
for applications running on
Linux
platforms using
Ansible, SQL, scripting
.
Perform deployments on production environments and maintain daily health checks.
Troubleshoot and escalate production issues swiftly and proactively.
Understand application architecture and actively monitor system performance.
Work with tools like
Autosys, Dynatrace, and shell scripting
(good to have).

Coordinating Responsibilities

Train and mentor junior team members on technical and functional areas.
Drive and manage
Incident, Problem, and Change Management
processes.
Conduct and lead support meetings.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Mandatory Skills:

Linux
Ansible
Oracle (PL/SQL)

Good to Have:

DevOps tools
Autosys
ServiceNow
Dynatrace
Shell Scripting
ITIL process knowledge

Preferred:

ITIL Certification
Experience with payment or finance domain applications
Prior experience in application production support

Soft Skills & Expectations

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays during critical situations
Self-motivated and proactive attitude

Interview Process:

L1 Technical Interview (Virtual via MS Teams)
L2 Technical + Managerial Interview (Face-to-Face at Client Location)
