Application Engineering

Role Overview: You will be an Experienced Engineering Manager specializing in designing and developing modern embedded systems and smart solutions across multiple industry segments like Automotive/eMobility, Industrial, Consumer, IoT. Your expertise in end-to-end engineering of Smart products and solutions will be crucial in managing successful project delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals while maintaining cost efficiency in a specialised work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Direct and manage a technical team of hardware, software engineers, and architects responsible for the development and/or validation of embedded systems across segments or technology. - Cover multiple areas of the system development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, validation, debug, optimization, customer engagement, and/or product support. - Oversee the development of embedded systems across multiple layers of the stack including board design, PCB, firmware/drivers, operating systems, software applications and tools, infrastructure, and platforms. - Provide direction and goals to the group, interact with stakeholders internal/external, and ensure sound engineering practices are followed. - Offer technical leadership, collaborate with internal partners, domain experts, planners, and business unit stakeholders. - Set priorities for the team, achieve results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance effectively. Qualifications Required: - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers. - Results-oriented with a demonstrated record of developing initiatives that impact productivity. - Proactive and solutions-oriented individual with experience working in ambiguity. - Ability to foster an environment where employees feel empowered to experiment, innovate, and make decisions. Additional Details: You will need a minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution. A Master's Degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics Engineering is preferred. You should have 8 to 10 years of design & development experience of embedded systems and experience leading organizations with at least 5+ members.,
