Application Engineer, SAP

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working with SAP ABAP, SAP HANA.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in designing and implementing supply chain integrations and systems.
• 3 years of experience in a lead role in designing and developing SAP Native applications.
• Experience in designing and developing full stack applications using SAP Gateway, Fiori, CDS views and ABAP.
• Experience contributing to building and enhancing enterprise-class systems throughout their entire life-cycle.
  

About The Job

You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate to meet user and customer needs.In this role, you will develop and maintain internal and third-party applications for Google and Alphabet's global supply chain and data centers. You will require expertise in Cloud-native development with design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable SAP Native applications using ABAP, CDS, OData, UI5, RAP and SAP Fiori.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions that automate and scale business systems, providing direction for architecture, design, and support across enterprise platforms.
• Execute Business-to-Business (B2B) partner integration solutions.
• Architect and deploy systems within scalable, distributed environments, including both on-premise and public cloud infrastructures.
• Develop and maintain applications using general-purpose programming languages, including SAP ABAP, SQL, CDS, RAP, BOPF, Fiori, UI5, and Cloud Native Programming.
• Optimize system scalability, performance fine-tuning, and resiliency.
