Application Engineer in Automation

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Application Engineer specializing in vision systems, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of vision-based solutions for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and product management, to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored solutions that address their unique needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales and product management teams to identify customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications for vision system applications.
• Design, develop, and implement vision-based solutions using industry-leading technologies and tools.
• Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the capabilities and benefits of our vision systems.
• Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, system integration, and training.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize and enhance existing vision system products.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in vision system technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Participate in customer meetings, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our vision system capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of computer vision algorithms, image processing techniques, and machine learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or LabVIEW.
• Experience with vision system development tools and frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with hardware components used in vision systems, including cameras, lenses, and lighting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role, providing technical support or solutions, is preferred.
• Knowledge of industry-specific applications of vision systems (e.g., robotics, quality control, inspection) is a plus.

Pay: ₹12,460.30 - ₹35,037.77 per month
