Application Administrator (UK Shift)

smart, proactive, and detail-oriented Application Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day application support tickets (

  ~800 per week

  across the team).
• Provide

  user access management

  (create, modify, disable users, manage roles & permissions).
• Configure and support

  SugarCRM

  for different business needs (customization, workflows, reports).
• Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure team for hardware-related requests (handled by a separate team).
• Document recurring issues, solutions, and create user guides for knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with business users to capture requirements and implement application enhancements.
• Work with vendors or external support teams for advanced troubleshooting/escalations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3-4 years

  of experience in

  Application Administration / ERP / CRM tools

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  SugarCRM or other ERP/CRM platforms

  .
• Ability to manage

  application configurations, workflows, and user access

  .
• Good understanding of

  SQL

  for troubleshooting and reporting.
• Experience working with

  ticketing/ITSM tools

  (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, Freshdesk).

• Excellent communication skills

  (must interact effectively with end users and business teams).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle high ticket volumes.
• Proactive, smart, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of

  application integrations

  with ERP/CRM tools.
• Exposure to

  automation / scripting

  for recurring tasks.
• Understanding of

  compliance and security best practices

  in application administration.
