Job Title: Senior PHP Developer SugarCRM Location: Remote Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Experience Level: Senior (6+ years) About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer with strong expertise in SugarCRM to join our growing remote development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining complex CRM solutions built on the SugarCRM platform. This is a critical role that requires advanced PHP skills and a deep understanding of CRM systems to help drive our digital transformation and client success. Key Responsibilities: SugarCRM Development & Customization: Customize and extend SugarCRM modules, workflows, logic hooks, and APIs Implement user interfaces, dashboards, and business processes within SugarCRM Perform data migrations and system integrations with third-party applications Backend PHP Development: Write clean, scalable, and well-documented PHP code Design and implement RESTful APIs for system integrations Optimize performance and troubleshoot PHP and CRM issues Technical Leadership: Participate in solution architecture and technical design discussions Guide junior developers and conduct code reviews Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Maintenance and Support: Monitor SugarCRM instance for performance, reliability, and security Implement upgrades and patches as needed Resolve bugs and provide ongoing support to internal and client stakeholders Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years of experience in PHP development 3+ years of hands-on experience with SugarCRM (Community or Enterprise Edition) Strong knowledge of MVC architecture, OOP principles, and design patterns Proficiency in MySQL/MariaDB for data modeling and query optimization Experience developing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) Solid understanding of CRM concepts, workflows, and automation Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with SuiteCRM Familiarity with Laravel or other modern PHP frameworks Experience integrating CRM with marketing tools, ERP systems, or payment gateways Knowledge of Docker, Linux command line, and deployment processes Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello What We Offer: 100% Remote Work Work from anywhere Competitive salary Opportunity to work on global projects and cutting-edge CRM solutions Skill development support and certifications
