Automation Test Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automation Tester with strong capabilities in Load Testing , Functional Testing , and Security Testing . The ideal candidate will work closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure the quality, performance, and security of web and mobile applications through rigorous testing methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications. Conduct functional testing to validate end-to-end business requirements and UI behavior. Plan, execute, and analyze results of load and performance tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. Perform security testing including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using OWASP standards. Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for various testing phases. Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and business analysts to understand application requirements and deliver quality releases. Participate in agile ceremonies and support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes. Report, track, and manage defects to resolution. Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing across web and API applications. Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Burp Suite, or similar. Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and experience in writing test cases and executing test scenarios. Experience in Load/Performance Testing (JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, or others). Familiarity with Security Testing concepts such as SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, authentication flaws, etc. Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps. Should have experience handling AI Enabled Automation Testing. Good to Have: ISTQB or similar testing certification. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with API automation (RestAssured, SoapUI). Understanding of DevSecOps principles. Why Join Us?
