About the Role

Apparel Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Seasonal Design Cycle:

  Drive the full design process for men’s collections—trend forecasting, concept development, sketching, and creating accurate tech-packs.

• Material Sourcing & Coordination:

  Oversee fabric, trims, and swatch selection; collaborate with suppliers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective materials.

• Sample Development & Fit Evaluation:

  Manage prototype creation and fittings; provide precise revisions and constructive feedback to vendors and internal teams.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with sourcing, production, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution from design concept to retail launch.

• Design Documentation:

  Maintain organized archives of mood boards, tech-packs, and digital assets for reference and future use.

• Brand Alignment & Commercial Goals:

  Ensure all designs reflect brand identity, meet budget and timeline requirements, and align with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience (6+ years) in men’s apparel design, preferably in a retail or brand environment.
• Strong skills in trend analysis, sketching (hand or digital), and creating detailed tech-packs.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
• Solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
