Location: Bellandur, Bangalore (Hybrid – 3 days Work from Office)

About the Role

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Android Developer who has between 6 months and 2 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with Android Studio, possess working knowledge of Java or Kotlin, and have experience integrating applications with RESTful APIs. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and release new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code using Java/Kotlin in Android Studio
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and back-end services, ensuring seamless communication and data flow
• Build and maintain user interfaces using standard Android UI components and layouts
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across different Android devices
• Identify and troubleshoot bugs, crashes, and other technical issues in a timely manner
• Support in preparing technical documentation, following coding standards, and adhering to best practices
• Contribute ideas and suggestions for product improvements and enhancements
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies as part of the development team

Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with Android Studio and Android app development projects
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin with the ability to write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code
• Strong understanding of Android fundamentals including Activity, Fragment, Services, Intents, and UI components
• Exposure to RESTful APIs, JSON/XML parsing, and integration with server-side logic
• Basic knowledge of SQLite database and local data storage in Android apps
• Familiarity with third-party SDKs, libraries, and APIs used in Android app development
• Ability to work on UI layouts, basic navigation flows, and simple mobile features independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug issues effectively
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new tools, frameworks, and technologies

Good to Have Skills

• Understanding of Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or MVC
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack libraries such as ViewModel, LiveData, and Room
• Exposure to Git or other version control systems for collaborative development
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile application deployment
• Basic understanding of testing frameworks and writing unit tests for Android apps
• Awareness of Google Play Store deployment process and guidelines

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
