About the role

Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain

  Android applications

  using Kotlin/Java with Android SDK and Jetpack Compose. 
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate

  FHIR/HL7 APIs

  and healthcare workflows (EHR/EMR systems). 
• Implement

  HIPAA-compliant data handling, encryption, and secure authentication

  . 
• Work with product and UI/UX teams to deliver high-quality healthcare apps. 
• Manage

  CI/CD pipelines

  via Azure DevOps and containerized builds with Docker. 
• Write

  unit tests (Espresso/JUnit)

  and ensure high code coverage. 
• Build

  real-time communication features

  using WebSockets and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). 

Core Technical Skills

• Android Development:

  Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Android Studio. 

• APIs & Integration:

  RESTful APIs, OAuth2.0/JWT, HL7/FHIR. 

• Cloud & DevOps:

  Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, Docker, Git/GitLab. 

• Database Knowledge:

  PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB/Cosmos DB. 

• Security & Compliance:

  HIPAA, GDPR, TLS/SSL, AES encryption. 

• Testing:

  Espresso, JUnit, Postman/Newman for APIs. 

Nice to have

• Cross-platform framework experience (Flutter / React Native). 
• Familiarity with

  FastAPI backend
