Analyst/Associate- Strategic

As an M&A Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in the identification and evaluation of potential targets within the IT/Tech sector. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying potential targets based on the criteria outlined in the M&A strategy. - Curating a list of companies by analyzing their financials and business details available on various platforms. - Contacting potential targets to express interest and coordinating with the leadership team for further discussions. - Setting up Data Rooms, facilitating the exchange of information, and liaising with legal and due diligence teams. - Working closely with the M&A team throughout the process, ensuring seamless coordination until the deal closure and integration phase begins. Your primary skills will include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, finance software, and legal research tools. Additionally, you should possess strong analytical and financial modeling skills, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role. Other skills that will be beneficial for this position include effective communication, active listening, teamwork, adaptability, leadership, problem-solving, time management, and familiarity with tax preparation software. Your educational background should include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or CFA certification would be a plus. You should also have 2-5 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, preferably with a focus on the IT/Tech sector. A proven track record in conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation, along with a strong understanding of M&A processes, financial statements, and IT sector trends, will be advantageous for this role.,
