Analyst, Services Contracts and Vendors

As a member of the Digital Partnerships team in Bangalore, India, you will play a crucial role in negotiating, executing, managing, and ensuring compliance of contracts related to IT services. Your responsibilities and accountabilities will include: - Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of contracts for IT services in alignment with Astellas" objectives. Collaborate with various internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. - Contract Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle using enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, Ariba, and Aravo, from drafting to renewal and termination. - Requirements Gathering: Work with DigitalX stakeholders to document and share requirements with vendors effectively. - Vendor Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing any issues that may arise. - Escalations: Escalate issues or questions to senior members of the contracting team. - Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks associated with contracts and develop mitigation strategies. - Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on contract scope, terms, and service delivery. - Performance Monitoring: Monitor vendor performance against contract terms and SLAs, ensuring compliance and addressing discrepancies. - Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of contracts, provide regular reports to management on contract status and performance, and monitor timelines for renewals, amendments, and terminations. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Law, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in negotiating, executing, and managing IT services and contracts. - 2+ years of experience in vendor relationship management. - Fluency in English (written/spoken). - Strong negotiation skills and communication abilities. - Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to IT contracts. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and contract management software/tools, including Ariba. Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced Degree (e.g., MBA, JD). - Consulting Experience. - Experience in the Pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry. - Experience with ServiceNow, SAP, and data analytics tools.
