Analyst - Procurement

As an Analyst - Procurement at Flex, your role is crucial in supporting the extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth. Your primary responsibility will be to perform administrative activities related to Purchasing, such as maintaining files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders, and other related documentation. You will also be entering and maintaining information on various business systems, expediting orders, and contacting vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates. Key Responsibilities: - Perform administrative activities related to Purchasing - Maintain files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders, and other related documentation - Enter and maintain information on various business systems - Assist in expediting orders - Contact vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates - Develop and maintain resources for assigned commodity items - Prepare standard requests for quotation - Coordinate pricing revisions, order cancellations, delivery date revisions, and activities associated with discontinued items - Interface directly with suppliers to resolve purchasing, change order, and logistics issues - Assist in purchase order negotiation, placement, maintenance, and follow-up - Review standardized reports to identify issues or generate group statistics - Perform computer queries and conduct other related research to provide component and order information - Provide routing instructions, track and trace shipments, interface with carriers/freight forwarders/customs brokers - Prepare shipping and customs documentation - Assist in supplier contract negotiation and development - Prepare content and participate in strategic supplier reviews Qualifications Required: - Completion of secondary school, vocational training, or equivalent with experience - 0-2 years of related experience At Flex, you will receive Health Insurance and Paid Time Off for the great work you provide.
