Job Title:

Analyst Finance & Business Performance

Job Summary:

The Analyst Finance & Business Performance will be responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making in the hospital. The role involves preparing data-driven insights, developing business models, monitoring revenue and expenses, and collaborating with insurance and billing teams to enhance overall financial efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data from all departments (OPD, IPD, OT, Pharmacy, Optical, etc).

  • Prepare and present monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.

  • Focus on financial analysis, including daily revenue tracking, billing analysis, and expense monitoring to ensure accuracy and transparency.

  • Support budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning for all departments and cost centers.

  • Develop and evaluate business models, financial projections, and performance proformas for new projects, services, or investments.

  • Conduct variance and profitability analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.

  • Collaborate with the billing and insurance departments to ensure accurate claim submissions, timely reimbursements, and identify new revenue opportunities through insurance partnerships.

  • Track daily billing performance and provide analysis to optimize collections, reduce leakage, and enhance cash flow.

  • Provide financial feasibility reports for new equipment purchases, service line expansions, or infrastructure developments.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and reports.

  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions to streamline financial workflows.

  • Generate actionable insights to improve financial sustainability and support long-term business growth.

Key Skills & Qualifications:


  • bachelors or masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration (MBA in Finance preferred).

  • 2 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, hospital finance, or healthcare operations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level), Power BI, and ERP/hospital management systems.

  • Good understanding of revenue cycle management, insurance processes, and budget control.

  • Strong presentation and reporting skills with attention to accuracy and detail.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with departments such as Billing, Accounts, and Insurance.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of healthcare costing, MIS reporting, and business performance metrics will be an added advantage.
