Job Description

We are looking for a motivated SCM Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules and will work closely with business users to analyse requirements, design solutions, and implement SCM functionalities within D365 F&O.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand technical requirements and translate functional designs into working solutions in D365 F&O.

Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations and extensions using
X++
,
SQL
,
SSRS
,
ER
and other D365 F&O technologies.
Debug X++ code, investigate system issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Create and maintain
Technical Design Documents (TDDs)
, adhere to best practices, and ensure compliance with coding standards.
Participate in
unit testing
,
system testing
, and
user acceptance testing (UAT)
support.
Develop and support
batch jobs
,
data entities
,
OData services
, and
system integrations
.
Support
incident management
,
ticket resolution
, and
change requests
across development and post-go-live phases. Provide
technical support
for existing customizations and standard D365 functionalities, including
bug fixing, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
.
Work with release management tools like
LCS (Lifecycle Services)
and
Azure DevOps
to manage builds and deployments.
Stay current with updates, hotfixes, and new features released by Microsoft.

Requirements:

1 3 years
of experience as a Technical Consultant/Developer in
D365 F&O
, with expertise in
X++ programming
and technical customization.
Proven experience in
support
, including handling incidents, debugging, and resolving production issues.
Strong understanding of
data models
,
form customizations
,
table extensions
, and
event handling
in D365 F&O.
Experience working with
SSRS reports
,
Data Management Framework (DMF)
,
batch jobs
, and
OData/REST APIs
.
Familiarity with integration and troubleshooting of issues across modules and external systems.
Exposure to
LCS
,
Azure DevOps
, and
version control systems
for build and release management.
Basic understanding of functional areas such as
SCM

Finance
, or
Retail
is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or in a team.
Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with functional teams and end users.
