This is a remote position.

SUMMARY:

The main responsibilities of an RPA engineer are to design, develop, and implement software robots, or bots, to work alongside humans to enhance business process efficiency.

JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES:
Identifying and designing business processes for automation using RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Retool, AppSmith, Zaptest ,etc.

Setting up, testing and monitoring automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of error.

Monitoring and maintaining automation post-implementation and resolving any potential issues to ensure smooth business operations.

Producing process documentation in order to outline mistakes and successes and refine processes going forward.

Ensuring quality automation using Quality Assurance (QA) processes to prevent any potential bugs.

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of Bachelors degree or equivalent from four-year College or technical school; or three to five years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Able to design technical specification documents for RPA Projects.

Problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Proficient in RPA tools and software such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Retool, AppSmith.

Proficient in Python, Java and/or other programming languages.

3+ years of relevant RPA engineering experience.

Sets and achieves challenging goals; demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles; measures self against standard of excellence; takes calculated risks to accomplish goals.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Superior time and project management skills.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Experience developing and consuming APIs.

RPA Developer certification(s) preferred.

Experience with Agile development methodology.

Experience with Databases (SQL or NoSQL) is often preferred.

Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Understanding of workflow-based logic.

Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences.

Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods.

Ability to work through ambiguous situations.

Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed.

Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects.
