Job Description

About the Role

We at Digit Insurance are looking fora detail-oriented and analytical individual to manage renewals and new/rolloverbusiness opportunities . This role is critical in understanding lost cases,improving retention, increasing quote conversion for new/rollovers and ensuringsmooth coordination across sales, UW & claims.

Key Responsibilities

Renewals

Deep dive into reasons for lost renewals and analyse if they could have been retained with the right approach.
Understand Digit Underwriting (UW) guidelines and assess gaps in decision-making.
Capture detailed lost reasons including:

Competitor name.
Commission offered.
Pricing differences.
Alternative strategies that could have saved the deal.

Share insights with leadership to improve renewal retention strategies.

New Business

Own and maintain the RFQ (Request for Quote) tracker for new business opportunities.
Take reviews on RFQ progress and ensure timely follow-ups.
Forward requests to the right stakeholders (Underwriting, Claims, Sales) for quick resolution.
Track quote conversion and identify reasons for lost new business opportunities.

Reporting & Insights

Prepare periodic reports on lost business trends (renewals and new business separately).
Recommend actionable steps to improve retention and conversion.

Required Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of insurance underwriting guidelines and business processes.
In-depth understanding of Commercial Lines / Non-Motor products , including:

Fire, Engineering, Marine, Workmens Compensation (WC), Liability Insurance products and processes.

Proficiency in MS Excel (Power Pivot knowledge is a plus).
Ability to manage trackers and ensure data accuracy.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education

Graduate/Post-Graduate in Business Administration or related fields.
