Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition

Key Responsibilities:

• Talent Sourcing & Acquisition:

• Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using job portals, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for critical roles.

• Stakeholder Management:

• Partner with department heads to understand manpower requirements and workforce planning.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to define job descriptions and selection criteria.

• Process Management:

• Conduct initial screening, interviews, and assessments.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and documentation for selected candidates.
• Maintain recruitment dashboards and MIS reports.

• Employer Branding:

• Support initiatives to enhance the company’s employer brand in the steel industry.
• Participate in campus hiring and job fairs.

• Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure recruitment practices comply with labor laws and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate records of interviews, offers, and candidate feedback.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of technical roles and industrial hiring practices.
• Proficiency in ATS systems and MS Office tools.
