Description
As an experienced professional with 10-15+ years of financial services experience, including strategy work at a top tier management consulting firm, a masters degree, and appropriate professional qualifications, you possess the financial acumen required for analysis and reporting. Your deep understanding of ALM products and activity, along with a proven track record in strategy definition, business development, and implementation within financial services, set you apart in this role. Additionally, your experience in managing transformation programs and process improvement, as well as exposure to regulatory requirements both regionally and internationally from a capital markets and investment banking perspective, make you a strong candidate for this position. In this critical role within Global Markets/Investment Banking Group, your area of influence will encompass Governance, Regulatory, and ALM Business Management in the UAE and internationally. You will be responsible for managing various aspects including ALM BAU Support & Enablement, new product development, Limits monitoring, budget and forecasting meetings, extensive ALM BoW, MI and reporting, new business initiatives, change and efficiencies, market data and access, transformation and change projects, cost management, regulatory projects, governance projects, and relationships with other FAB product/sector heads and their business partners across divisions and enablement functions. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all ALM BAU Support & Enablement - Manage all new product development (NAWC), Approved Product List (APL), and Product Programs (PPG) on behalf of ALM/GT - Manage all Limits monitoring and enablement (counterparty, country) on behalf of GT/ALM - Drive all Budget and Forecasting meetings on behalf of the team at a group and franchise level - Manage an extensive ALM Book of Work (BoW) which includes Head Office and all International Locations - Proactively manage and drive all MI and reporting - Support new business initiatives and drive required change and efficiencies - Ensure market data and access for the group - Manage transformation and change projects, along with cost management - Oversee all regulatory projects that impact GT/ALM and all governance projects across the ALM franchise - Manage relationships with other FAB product/sector heads and their business partners across divisions and enablement functions - Support the head of GT and Head of ALM in aligning the enablement functions - Represent the division internally and across external groups Your ability to manage large teams and complex projects, think at the corporate level to solve complex problems with a broad impact, and effectively communicate complex ideas while building collaborative relationships will be crucial in this role.
