Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Application Managed Services Specialist to act as a critical liaison between business units and IT development teams. The ideal candidate will analyze business goals and translate them into effective IT solutions, ensuring seamless integration and support of application systems. You will help optimize application performance, document system components and relationships, and drive continuous improvement Responsibilities : Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders and IT system development teams to understand and translate business needs into application requirements. Conduct thorough analysis of business goals, objectives, and processes to identify areas for IT-driven improvements. Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed documentation on application components, system architecture, and their interrelationships. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to ensure application solutions meet business requirements and deliver value. Monitor application performance and support incident management, escalation, and resolution processes. Assist in change management and release activities related to application enhancements and fixes. Participate in requirements gathering, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for new projects or system changes. Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and regulatory requirements related to application management. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training or support materials to end-users as needed. Identify opportunities for process automation, application optimization, and operational efficiency Skills & Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in application management, business analysis, or IT liaison roles. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and application support processes. Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements. Excellent documentation skills, with experience creating functional specifications, workflows, and system diagrams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with technical teams and business users. Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and practices (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA). Basic knowledge of relevant technologies (databases, middleware, web services) and integration concepts.
