Vehicle Procurement & Supply Planning
Forecast vehicle demand based on ridership trends and expansion goals.
Source and procure new and used vehicles from reliable suppliers or leasing companies.
Ensure timely onboarding and licensing of new vehicles.
Vendor & Fleet Partner Management
Develop and manage relationships with vehicle suppliers, leasing partners, and service providers.
Negotiate favorable contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Monitor and evaluate partner performance.
Driver Supply Coordination
Collaborate with driver recruitment teams to ensure steady onboarding of drivers.
Plan and allocate vehicles to drivers based on operational efficiency.
Fleet Utilization & Availability
Ensure optimal vehicle-to-driver ratios in each service area.
Monitor vehicle uptime and downtime, minimizing idle or out-of-service vehicles.
Cost Control & Budget Management
Track and manage supply-related budgets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities in vehicle sourcing, servicing, and insurance.
Inventory & Asset Management
Maintain records of fleet assets, including vehicle documentation, keys, licenses, and fuel cards.
Ensure physical and digital inventory is up to date and reconciled.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation
Ensure all vehicles meet legal and safety standards (e.g., insurance, registration, emission).
Support audits and compliance checks.
Reporting & Analytics
Generate regular reports on vehicle availability, costs, supplier performance, and other KPIs.
Provide insights and recommendations for operational improvements.
