Air Ticketing Senior Executive

Job Responsibilities:

• Booking tickets using GDS software (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre) and other available portals.
• Coordinating with airlines to secure the best-negotiated fares for tours and clients.
• Handling airline ticket-related issues, including booking problems, cancellations, and additional ticket issuance.
• Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with airlines.
• Analyzing air tour budgets to secure fares lower than the budget, contributing to increased profitability.
• Scheduling flights based on customer needs and availability of flights.
• Addressing customer inquiries regarding tickets, pricing, and flight schedules.
• Managing payment transactions for tickets, including cash, credit cards, checks, and money orders.
• Updating customer records and issuing tickets using a computerised system.
• Explaining applicable fees and taxes associated with ticket bookings.
• Assisting clients with travel-related questions and concerns.
• Collaborating with the tour sales team to ensure seamless travel arrangements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic and international ticketing, with proficiency in GDS software.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Travel, Tourism, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing corporate clients and understanding their requirements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and data management.

• Strong analytical skills for budget management and fare negotiation.
• Problem-solving skills to resolve booking and travel-related issues effectively.
