Job Summary:

• The Air Cargo Executive is responsible for handling all aspects of air cargo operations, including cargo acceptance, documentation, shipment processing, coordination with airlines and freight agents, and ensuring smooth import/export cargo movement.
• The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to aviation safety and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day air cargo operations (import and export).
• Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and ground handling agents for cargo movement.
• Prepare and verify air waybills (AWB), invoices, shipping documents, and manifests.
• Ensure timely booking, cargo acceptance, and shipment dispatch as per airline schedules.
• Monitor cargo tracking, update clients on shipment status, and resolve delivery delays.
• Ensure all documentation complies with IATA, airline, and customs regulations.
• Handle dangerous goods (DG) and perishable shipments as per regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate with customs and security departments for cargo clearance and inspection.
• Maintain records of cargo transactions and prepare daily/weekly operational reports.
• Manage customer queries and provide efficient service to meet client satisfaction.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with airport and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education

  : Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Logistics, Aviation, or Commerce).

• Experience

  : 0-3 years in air cargo operations, freight forwarding, or logistics.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of air cargo procedures and documentation
• Familiarity with IATA regulations and cargo systems (e.g., CARGO-IMP, EDI, DGR handling)
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Work Environment:

• Based at the airport cargo terminal or freight office.
• Involves shift duties, including weekends and holidays, depending on flight schedules.
• Requires adherence to airport safety and security protocols.
