Air and Ocean Export Manager

As a Gateway Manager for Logistics & Procurement, your role will involve owning multiple Trade Lanes under each Gateway (Region) with a focus on Ocean & Air Freight for Trade Lanes connecting China, Vietnam, and India to the U.S. You should have at least 8+ years of experience in Logistics, Procurement, and Carrier & Vendor Relations. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing procurement strategies for ocean and air freight services. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and vendors to secure competitive rates and capacity. - Negotiating contracts and service agreements with key partners. You will also oversee day-to-day logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient cargo movement, resolving operational challenges, implementing best practices, and monitoring service quality and compliance across all trade lanes. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, collaborating with the commercial team to enhance service offerings, and analyzing market trends to position the company competitively. Your qualifications should include: - 8+ years of experience in logistics, procurement, and trade lane management. - Strong operational knowledge of ocean and air freight logistics. - Extensive experience managing trade lanes from China, Vietnam, and India to the U.S. - Proven track record in carrier and vendor relationship management. - Commercial mindset with strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred qualifications include experience in developing procurement strategies in peak and off-peak market conditions and familiarity with U.S. import regulations and customs requirements.,
