AI/ML Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer (AI/ML) to join our team and help build the next-generation AI platform that will transform the way millions of customers experience H&R Block’s services. What You’ll Do:

• Build & Learn: Work on the design and development of AI/ML solutions, collaborating with senior engineers to create scalable, production-ready systems.

• Hands-On AI/ML Development: Help with data processing, model training, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning pipelines.

• Solve Real Problems: Contribute to projects involving natural language processing, automation, and intelligent recommendations.

• Write Clean, Reliable Code: Follow best practices for coding, testing, CI/CD, and ML Ops.

• Collaborate: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver meaningful features.

• Grow Your Skills: Learn about knowledge graphs, semantic modeling, and cutting-edge AI tools as you work on impactful solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–4 years of experience in software engineering (Python, Java, or similar).

• Minimum of 12 months experience in implementing AI solution in real world production scenario.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and APIs/microservices.

• Understanding data structures, algorithms, and software development best practice.

• Eagerness to learn about ML Ops, knowledge representation, and NLP.

• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
