AI/ML Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a forward-thinking AI/ML Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our pioneering AI team. This role is at the heart of our mission to build next-generation AI products. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of machine learning models, from initial design and training to deployment and continuous optimization. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about leveraging the latest advancements in AI, including deep learning, neural networks, and Large Language Models (LLMs), to solve complex problems and create intelligent, impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and train state-of-the-art machine learning, neural network, and deep learning models using modern frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Spearhead the fine-tuning of Large Language Models (LLMs) on custom datasets, leveraging techniques for parameter-efficient fine-tuning (PEFT) and tools like Unsloth to optimize for speed and performance.
• Integrate and deploy your models seamlessly into our production environment, working with backend systems using FastAPI and real-time data streaming with Kafka.
• Manage and utilize vector databases like Pinecone for efficient storage and retrieval of AI embeddings, crucial for applications such as semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Collaborate with data scientists and other engineers to productionize cutting-edge AI solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
• Continuously monitor the performance of deployed models, implementing robust retraining pipelines and MLOps best practices to ensure they remain accurate and effective over time.
• Uphold ethical AI principles by ensuring model fairness, transparency, and explainability in all our AI products.
• Actively participate in our research and development efforts to explore and implement new AI features and capabilities.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in an AI/ML engineering role.
• Strong programming skills in Python and a deep understanding of core ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Proven experience in data processing and working with various databases, including PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, particularly Docker, for packaging and deploying ML models.
• A solid grasp of fundamental machine learning algorithms, as well as experience with the deployment and operationalization of models.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a creative and innovative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with high-performance programming languages like Rust or Elixir for optimizing ML components.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for orchestrating and scaling AI workloads in a cloud environment.
• Hands-on experience with real-time data streaming technologies, especially Kafka.
• Exposure to cloud-based AI services and platforms.
• A strong interest and passion for staying at the forefront of the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹960,000.00 - ₹1,080,000.00 per year
