Position Summary:

Agriculture Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop agricultural machinery, tools, and equipment to optimize farming operations.
  
• Plan and implement efficient irrigation and drainage systems for crop fields.
  
• Evaluate soil conservation and erosion control methods.
  
• Conduct research on sustainable farming techniques and renewable energy applications.
  
• Analyze farm operations and provide engineering solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  
• Collaborate with agronomists, biologists, and environmental scientists on agricultural projects.
  
• Manage installation, maintenance, and repair of agricultural infrastructure.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

• Bachelors degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with a focus on agriculture, or related field.
  
• Proven experience in agricultural engineering or related roles.
  
• Strong knowledge of farm machinery, irrigation technology, and soil science.
  
• Familiarity with CAD software and engineering design tools.
  
• Understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
  

Desirable:

• Masters degree or specialized certification in Agricultural Engineering.
  
• Experience in precision agriculture, automation, or renewable energy in farming.
  
• Knowledge of GIS and remote sensing technologies.
  
• Field experience in different agricultural environments.
