AGM/ Sr. Manager - Projects

Role & responsibilities

• Capex preparation, layout preparation, and obtain necessary approvals.
• Comprehensive understanding of the entire plant process requirements including Production, Equipment, Facility, R&D, Effluent Treatment, Electrical, Utility, EHS, and Statutory compliance.
• Strong plant-related knowledge to drive projects in a sequential manner across Production Block, Kilo Lab, Boiler, HAG, Utility, SRP, ETP, Pump House, Fire Line, Pipe Rack, Admin, QC, and QA areas.
• Hands-on installation experience with SS & GL Reactors, Centrifuges, Heat Exchangers, Spray Dryers, Filter Presses, Storage Vessels, Vacuum Pumps, RCVD, PTS, ANFD, Tray Dryers, and VTD.
• Knowledge of powder process equipment and facilities such as Multimill, Sifter, Jet Mill, Pulverizer, Nauta Dryer, ATFD, Compactor, PTS, HVAC, Clean Rooms, Flooring, Temperature & RH Control, and preparation/approval of clean room layouts.
• Strong utility knowledge including Boiler, HAG, Chiller, Brine Plant, Cooling Tower, Compressor, Nitrogen Plant, Softener, RO, and Purified Water System.
• Familiarity with QC equipment such as LAF, Hot Oven, Fume Hood, Spot Extractor, Glass Assembly, Autoclave, Vacuum Pump, Walk-in Chamber, and Humidity Chamber.
• Understanding of ETP equipment including Stripper, MEE, ATFD, Clarifier, Aeration System, UF, RO, and STP.
• Ability to verify electrical equipment design and oversee installation of Transformer, Panel, VCB, RMU, and DG.
• Knowledge of legal requirements and capability to monitor and align compliance status with project completion milestones.
• 100 % through knowledge about all the equipment design verification and installation needs and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and monitor project bar charts and execution schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Review and adhering of approved drawings, BOQs, and other technical documents.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, statutory, and quality standards at all project stages.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and contractors to ensure material availability and quality workmanship.
• Manage cost and resource control to achieve project completion within approved budgets.
• Conduct periodic review meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Prepare and maintain complete project documentation, including URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, and other validation documents.
• Generate and communicate performance and progress reports of project activities with stakeholders and management.
• Ensure seamless handover of completed projects with all necessary documentation.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all project activities.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Execute projects at Dahej location (both greenfield & brownfield) with hands-on involvement.

2. Strong knowledge of GMP, engineering practices, and project management methodologies

3. Skilled in resource planning, cost control, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination.

4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and safety compliance.

5. Overall responsible for complete site operations, including material inward and outward movement, work progress monitoring, material handling, safety compliance, work execution, and team coordination across departments such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Purchase, Finance, and Vendor Delivery.
