Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and disciplined Designer to join our technical team, specializing in CAD-based diagramming and Material Take-offs. And having a strong knowledge in measurements and Housing structure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing Civil based CAD designs and measurements, following established procedures, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet our standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand Civil Blueprints and Create, re-create precise CAD designs using our internal CAD software by incorporating measurements and structural details and Validating Material Take offs.
• Review Blueprints and make corrections with inch level accuracy.
• Perform and read details in Blueprints to create accurate measurements and translate them into technical diagrams.
• Follow standardized procedures and workflows as trained to ensure consistency and quality.
• Apply civil-based CAD design principles where applicable; prior experience is a plus.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Team Leads, and Quality Control to resolve issues and improve file accuracy.
• Revise and redo files as needed until they pass QC checks.
• Encode and monitor progress metrics, regularly reporting updates to Team Leads.
• Maintain high levels of concentration and attention to detail while performing tasks.
• Uphold workplace ethics and professional behavior at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E/B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering/ Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Proactive mindset and thinking with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Willingness to work in night shifts as required
• High level of commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of Auto cad and other Civil measurements software's are preferred

Preferred Candidates

Exp in Solar PV designs, Roof Measurements, US based Roof, Interior and exterior measurements.
