Job description

We are seeking a proactive Aerospace Supply Chain Expediter with a strong focus on vendor management and high-precision component manufacturing. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the timely production and delivery of critical aerospace components, including bearings, exotic metals, high precision CNC machined parts, and metal 3D printed components. The ideal candidate will work closely with vendors, effectively communicating technical requirements and production timelines to expedite the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact between the company and vendors, ensuring clear communication of production requirements and deadlines.
• Expedite the manufacturing and delivery of high-precision components, including

  bearings, exotic metals, 5 axis CNC machined parts, and metal 3D printed components

• Monitor vendor performance and production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to understand detailed component specifications and communicate these to vendors.
• Address any production delays or issues with vendors, working to resolve them quickly to maintain project timelines.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with vendors to track progress and provide updates to the internal team.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to vendor performance, production delays, and quality issues.
• Report on the status of orders, highlighting any potential delays or issues to the supply chain management team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in supply chain expediting or vendor management within the aerospace or high-precision manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of high-precision components, including bearings, exotic metals, tool rooms, CNC machining, and metal 3D printing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage vendor relationships.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address and resolve production delays.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple orders and vendors simultaneously.
• Willingness to relocate to New Delhi.
