Admission Head
This role blends leadership, strategic planning, and digital-first thinking to ensure AIM continues to attract, engage, and enroll high-potential students while delivering a seamless applicant experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute admissions strategies for MBA & PGDM programs to consistently meet enrollment targets.
- Conduct detailed market research and competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities and risks.
- Define short-term and long-term admissions goals aligned with AIM's vision and growth plans.
- Integrate data-driven insights from CRM systems into decision-making and campaign optimization.
2. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of counselors and coordinators to deliver exceptional results.
- Provide structured training programs on admissions counseling, CRM usage, and digital tools.
- Foster a high-performance culture with accountability for individual and team KPIs.
3. Admissions Process Management
- Oversee and continuously refine the end-to-end admissions process, ensuring efficiency and a student-centric experience.
- Leverage CRM platforms to manage the admissions funnel, monitor lead scoring, and optimize conversion ratios.
- Standardize admission policies, documentation, and compliance procedures.
4. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Integration
- Partner with the marketing team to design digital-first campaigns (Google, Meta, WhatsApp automation, email marketing) that generate high-quality leads.
- Work with academic teams to align program positioning and admissions criteria.
- Strengthen relationships with schools, colleges, and feeder institutions.
5. Outreach, Events & Partnerships
- Represent AIM at education fairs, webinars, open houses, and industry events.
- Organize campus tours, counselor workshops, and promotional activities to drive applications.
- Build strong networks with educational consultants, agencies, and AIM's alumni community.
6. Reporting & Analytics
- Use CRM dashboards to track, analyze, and report on admissions performance across the funnel.
- Present periodic MIS reports to senior management highlighting achievements, gaps, and opportunities.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies for higher conversion and ROI.
7. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to AIM's admission policies, AICTE/UGC norms, and regulatory requirements.
- Safeguard confidentiality and integrity of applicant data at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in admissions/education management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in achieving enrollment targets in higher education.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (LeadSquared, Salesforce, Zoho, or equivalent) and strong digital orientation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of higher education industry and competitive landscape.
- Ability to integrate digital marketing with admissions (Google Ads, Meta, SEO/SEM, automation).
- Financial acumen with experience in admissions budgeting and ROI tracking.
- High emotional intelligence with proven team-building and negotiation skills.
