Role Overview

As an Admission Counsellor, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students. You will guide them through the admissions process, explain program details, handle queries, and ensure a smooth application journey. Your role blends consultative communication with sales orientation to help candidates make informed decisions while achieving institutional enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective students through inbound and outbound calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Counsel students on courses, career opportunities, admission requirements, and eligibility.
• Convert inquiries into confirmed admissions by building trust and providing accurate guidance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of partner institutions, courses, fee structures, and deadlines.
• Track leads and update CRM tools with student interactions and progress.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly admission/enrollment targets.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
• Support students with documentation, application forms, and payment processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education/Marketing background preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in student counselling, education sales, or admissions.
• Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi, and regional languages are a plus).
• Strong persuasion and interpersonal skills with a student-first approach.
• Ability to multitask, handle targets, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Office, and online communication platforms.
