Admissions Counselor

As an Academic /Admission Counselor at Laurel High Global School in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, your role will involve designing and managing a WOW walk-in experience for prospective parents and children visiting the school. You will be responsible for conducting campus tours, answering inquiries promptly and accurately, processing admission applications efficiently, and maintaining regular communication with parents to coordinate admission activities. Your goal will be to convert admission inquiries into confirmed admissions and ensure a positive experience for both parents and students. Additionally, you will be required to prepare and present applicant reports to the school management and manage applicant and inquiry files effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Design and manage a WOW walk-in experience for prospective parents and children - Conduct campus tours and convert prospects to admissions - Ensure that admission inquiries are answered quickly and accurately - Process admission inquiries and applications in a timely manner - Conduct regular phone, email, and written outreach to inquiries and applicants - Maintain applicant and inquiry files, including filing, updating, and communicating status to senior management - Prepare and present applicant reports to school management - Maintain regular communication with parents to coordinate admission activities - Convert admission inquiries into confirmed admissions - Convert parent aspirations into admissions at Laurel High Qualifications Required: - Experience in Public relationships or Counselling - Previous experience working with students, parents, teachers, and administrators - Previous experience in teaching Skills Required: - Excellent communication skills - Good written and verbal communication skills in English - Proficiency in MS Office - Word and Excel - Ability to work effectively in a team - Positive communication and listening skills - Patience, tolerance, and sensitivity with a non-judgemental outlook Please note that the job is full-time and may involve walk-in interviews.
