Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Student Recruitment & Counseling:

    • Provide comprehensive information on

      admission processes

      ,

      program offerings

      ,

      eligibility criteria

      , and

      university policies

      to prospective students and their families.
    • Guide students through the

      entire admissions process

      , from initial inquiries to final enrollment, ensuring a smooth and transparent experience.
    • Conduct

      personalized counseling sessions

      to understand the academic interests and career goals of prospective students, and recommend suitable programs at Mody University.
    • Respond to student and parent queries via

      email, phone, and in-person consultations

      with a focus on addressing their needs and concerns.
  2. Admission Application Processing:

    • Assist students with

      online application submissions

      , ensuring that they meet all eligibility requirements and deadlines.
    • Review student applications and ensure all supporting documents are complete and accurately submitted.
    • Provide guidance on required documents, eligibility criteria, and any additional requirements for specific courses.
  3. Promotion and Outreach:

    • Represent Mody University at

      education fairs

      , school visits, webinars, and other outreach programs, promoting the universitys academic offerings and campus facilities.
    • Support the

      marketing team

      in preparing promotional materials, brochures, and digital content for recruitment purposes.
    • Participate in organizing

      admission seminars

      to raise awareness and drive interest in university programs.
  4. Lead Management & Conversion:

    • Actively follow up with prospective students to ensure conversion of inquiries into completed applications.
    • Track and manage leads using

      CRM tools

      to monitor student engagement, progress through the application process, and facilitate timely follow-ups.
    • Provide detailed updates to management on lead status, conversion rates, and overall performance against admission targets.
  5. Coordination with Departments:

    • Collaborate with the

      Registrar’s Office

      ,

      Academic Departments

      , and

      Student Affairs

      to ensure smooth processing of student admissions and integration into campus life.
    • Assist students with understanding the

      fee structure

      scholarships

      , and

      financial aid

      options by working closely with the

      Finance Department

      (if applicable) to assist international applicants with visa procedures and other specific admission requirements.
  6. Student Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with prospective students, their families, and other stakeholders.
    • Provide

  7. Reporting and Documentation:

  8. Problem Resolution:

    • Resolve issues related to the admission process, eligibility doubts, or any other concerns raised by students and their families.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  1. Educational Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree

      in any discipline (preferably in Education, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields).
    • A

      Master’s degree

      in

      Education

      ,

      Counseling

      ,

      Business Administration

      , or similar fields would be an advantage.
  2. Experience:

    • 0-5 years of experience

      in admissions counseling, student services, or similar roles within an academic or educational setting.
    • Experience in

      sales

      customer service

      is a plus, especially if the role requires engaging prospective students and converting leads into enrollments.
    • Previous exposure to

      higher education

      admissions processes, particularly in India, is preferred.
  3. Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong communication skills

      (both written and verbal) with the ability to clearly explain complex information to prospective students and their families.
    • Interpersonal skills

      with the ability to build rapport and trust with students and their parents.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills

    • Proficiency in
