Admission Counsellor

The Senior Counselor plays a crucial role in guiding prospective and current students in making informed decisions about their design education and career paths. They provide counseling, admissions guidance, and support throughout the student lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience at the design college. #### *Key Responsibilities:* 1. *Student Counseling & Guidance:* 2. *Admissions & Enrollment Management:* 3. *Marketing & Outreach:* 4. *Student Support & Engagement:* 5. *Industry & Career Guidance:* 6. *Administrative & Reporting Duties:* - Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, admissions, and student concerns. - Prepare reports and updates for the management regarding student enrollment, feedback, and trends. - Stay updated on new courses, policies, and industry developments to enhance counseling effectiveness. #### *Required Qualifications & Skills:* - Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, Psychology, Education, or a related field. - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in counseling, admissions, or student support in an educational institution (preferably in design or creative education). - Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Passion for mentoring and guiding students in their academic and professional journeys. - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools for managing student records. - Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate with teams. #### *Preferred Attributes:* - Knowledge of design education and industry trends. - Experience in career counseling and student engagement programs. - Familiarity with digital marketing and social media strategies for student outreach.
