Position: Administrative Officer (Legal & Compliance) – Education Sector Location: Patna ( Bihar) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Administrative Officer (Legal & Compliance) will be responsible for overseeing legal and regulatory compliance, policy implementation, and administrative functions within the education sector. The role requires a professional with an LLB/LLM or an equivalent degree and a strong background in legal and administrative operations, particularly in education institutions, accreditation bodies, or regulatory agencies. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with education laws, policies, and regulations at national and state levels. Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, MoUs, and other legal documents related to institutional governance, partnerships, and regulatory obligations. Liaise with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and accreditation councils for licensing, approvals, and policy advocacy. Oversee institutional audits, legal due diligence, and risk management related to education compliance. Develop and implement internal policies to align with legal and administrative best practices. Provide legal advisory on disputes, grievances, and institutional litigations, ensuring risk mitigation. Manage administrative processes, including record-keeping, policy documentation, and institutional governance frameworks. Assist in disciplinary proceedings, faculty and student-related legal matters, and institutional policy enforcement. Conduct legal training sessions for staff, faculty, and administrative personnel on compliance and best practices. Ensure seamless coordination between legal, academic, and administrative teams for smooth institutional operations. Qualifications & Experience: LLB/LLM or equivalent degree from a recognized institution. Minimum 5 years of experience in legal and administrative roles within the education sector. Strong understanding of education laws, institutional compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks. Experience in handling legal documentation, agreements, and institutional governance policies. Prior experience in liaising with accreditation bodies, regulatory agencies, and government authorities. Skills & Competencies: Strong legal drafting and interpretation skills. Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and legal compliance functions efficiently. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Ethical, professional, and results-oriented approach. Preferred: Experience in legal advisory roles in educational institutions, universities, or government regulatory bodies. Familiarity with accreditation processes and institutional audits.
