Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Establish and annually review standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff in accordance with established policies and practices of the facility.
Orientate, develop and supervise of all supervisory/housekeeping staff under span of control.
Regularly inspect and evaluate physical condition of facility; recommend painting, repairs and furnishings.
Supervise the relocation and storage of all furnishings and equipment as well as the relocation of space to improve the sanitation and appearance of the facility.
To assist Unit Head and other departmental heads in in accordance with company standards.
Help in compliance (social & statutory)
Help in implementing Worker welfare schemes & welfare activities.
Liaison with government/semi govt. authorities /local bodies.
Interview, select, hire, evaluate and recommend termination of facility housekeeping personnel in accordance with facility standards.
Maintain and support facility goals and objectives as they relate to third party patient survey process as soon as compliance.
Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate with members of other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities.
To carry out any other tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.
