Job Description

Patient and clinical support Appointment scheduling: Booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments for patients and coordinating with doctors. Patient check-in/out: Greeting patients, gathering necessary information and paperwork, and handling the check-out process. Medical records: Maintaining and updating patient records, both in electronic health record (EHR) systems and paper formats, to ensure accuracy. Communication: Acting as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, handling phone calls, emails, and other correspondence. Medical referrals and coordination: Assisting with scheduling specialist appointments and coordinating with labs or other facilities.  Financial and billing Insurance and billing: Verifying insurance coverage, processing claims, and preparing bills for patients. Patient payments: Collecting co-pays and other payments and addressing billing inquiries.  Administrative and office management Office administration: Answering phones, managing correspondence, and handling general office tasks. Supply management: Ordering and managing inventory of office and medical supplies. Record keeping: Organizing and maintaining patient charts and other necessary documents.
