ADAS- Embedded Test Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the ADAS embedded test team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and project oversight.
• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for ADAS features, including requirements analysis, test planning, and test case development.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for embedded systems and ADAS features
• Oversee the execution of various test types, including functional, integration, regression, performance.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work closely with the development team to resolve defects.
• Establish and maintain best practices for software quality assurance and test automation within the team.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Manage and maintain test benches and test equipment.
• Generate and present detailed test reports, metrics, and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting test progress, defect status, and quality risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software development, hardware, systems engineering, and product management) to ensure alignment on test objectives and project timelines.

• In-depth understanding of ADAS features, sensor technologies (Camera, Radar, Lidar, Ultrasonic), and their underlying algorithms.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and FlexRay.
• Proven experience in embedded software testing, including manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation tools (e.g., dSPACE, Vector, NI).
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++).
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Polarion, DOORS).
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostic tools (e.g., CANape, CANalyzer).
• Prior experience leading a team of engineers, with a focus on project delivery and team growth.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Familiarity with automotive quality standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262).
• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, with a focus on the automotive industry.
• 2+ years in a lead or senior engineer role, managing test activities and mentoring junior engineers.
