Job Description

Years of experience: 7-12 years Job Location: Pune We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Acronis Application Support Specialist to manage and support Acronis application. This role involves Installing, monitoring, maintenance, patch management, and coordination with support teams to ensure the health and performance of Acronis systems. Key Responsibilities: Acronis Application Support: Provide technical support for Acronis Application and related components. Manage the Acronis application, troubleshoot the issues , service disruptions, and performance issues. Monitor and respond to emails in the Acronis support mailbox. Track, update, and resolve support tickets in coordination with internal teams and vendors. Monitoring & Alert Management: Monitor Acronis-related tickets and alerts for service failures or capacity issues. Ability to handle all kind of tickets related to Acronis application issues. Take corrective actions or escalate as needed to ensure system stability. Provide support on monitoring tickets related to Acronis process/service failures or capacity alerts raised from Acronis servers Patch & Update Management: Regularly perform Acronis application Health check Regularly check Acronis SQL servers for the latest service packs and stable patches. Prioritize and apply critical updates in a timely manner. Acronis Release Notes & Upgrade Feasibility: Review Acronis release notes and perform feasibility studies for version upgrades. Coordinate upgrade planning and testing with relevant stakeholders. Installation & Deployment: Install Acronis applications and components on new Acronis management servers. Ensure proper configuration and integration with existing infrastructure. Acronis Experience: Experience with Acronis Application platform, Acronis Cyber Protect, and other related Acronis products. Operating Systems: Proficiency in working with Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Certifications: Acronis certifications (e.g., Acronis Certified Professional) are highly desirable, according to Acronis. Show more Show less
