Accounts Team Leader(Bookkeeping)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced accounts Team Leader to lead Our Client's US Accounting Team Based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The Ideal candidate must have a strong Background in bookkeeping, tax, and compliance for US-Based clients, with proven Leadership ability to supervise a team and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Supervision: Lead,Mentor, and review the work of junior accountants and executives.
• Finalisation of Books: Oversee and finalise monthly, Quaterly and annual financial report.
• Client Management: Act as the Primary Point of Contact for assigned clients, resolve escalations, ensure timely communications & deliverables.
• Workflow & Deadline Management: Assign Tasks, Monitor Progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Quality Control: Conduct internal reviews and ensure accuracy and Compliance in all bookkeeping and reporting.
• Training and Development: Support Ongoing Training for Junior staff and ensure knowledge of updated US accounting standards.
• Compliance: Ensure Proper tax filings, Payroll processing and sales Tax Compliance with the help of internal and external teams.
• Process improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and suggest automation or best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong Hands-on Knowledge of Quickbooks Online/Desktop, Xero, and related accounting tools.
• Expertise in US GAAP, payroll processing, Sales Tax, and 1099/1040/1120 filings.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in Fast-paced, deadline-driven enviornment.
• Strong understanding of client confidentiality and data protection.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/ Master's in Accounting or finance.
• Certification in US Taxation or Quickbooks(preferred).
• Prior Experience working with CPA firms or offshore KPOs.
