Job Description

You are an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Senior Analyst with a background in AR operations, preferably from the FMCG or Retail sector. Your role involves leading and managing the end-to-end AR process, including billing, collections, credit management, and cash applications. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, follow-up, and reconciliation of customer accounts. Monitoring aging reports, reducing DSO, escalating overdue receivables, handling customer disputes, and generating AR reports using Excel are key aspects of your role. Additionally, providing regular updates and insights to management, maintaining AR-related SOPs and internal controls, supporting audits, and training junior staff are part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process. - Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, follow-up, and reconciliation of customer accounts. - Monitor aging reports, reduce DSO, and escalate overdue receivables. - Handle customer disputes and coordinate with internal teams for resolution. - Generate and analyse AR reports using Excel. - Provide updates and insights to management on receivables status. - Maintain and improve AR-related SOPs and internal controls. - Support internal and external audits. - Train and mentor junior AR staff. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 7-10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable. - Industry experience in FMCG or Retail preferred. - Strong knowledge of AR concepts, processes, and best practices. - Advanced MS Excel skills. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Experience with ERP systems is a plus. - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: - Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. - Proactive and hands-on attitude. - Ability to work under pressure. - Ability to handle large volumes of data and present meaningful insights.,
